I feel your pain, I went to the doctors today (one hand typing, sigh…) I got some anti-inflammatory cream, and some intense vitamin b6 pills… it sucks, my hand is also weaker, the numbness doesn’t go away. It happened a week ago, I pinched the nerve on the edge of something, arm rest or table cant remember. How is your condition?

  3. WillBackbone says:

had the same problem years ago, you tell people they say you mean Carpal Tunnel and you tell them NO it’s cubital tunnel. You have to do the surgery or the feelings will not return ever.

I just found your video while looking for info on the ulnar nerve. I had never heard of it before going to my dr. last week with numbness in my fingers and palm. Thank you for passing on your info. I learned alot! Good luck!

Just found out i had this today, my pinky, ring finger and side of my palm have been numb for about a week now, on and off though. I’m sure i got it from leaning on my elbow. Will be going to doctor soon, hope it’s not too serious at the moment and won’t need an operation. Thanks for the video though.

I have been dealing with numbness is my ring finger and pinky finger for a couple of years now. My doc just refered me to a nero doc. he said that I might need surgery. My question is how long was the hospital stay and recovery time.
    Thanks

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have been experiencing numbness & tingling for about 2 weeks now. Planning on calling my dr. in the morning. I’m currently studying to become a massage therapist & have been learning about nerve entrapment & impingments. I’m on a break from school at the moment & the numbness started on my break. Might be a bit hard to massage when I go back. I am also a percussionist. Glad to see a fellow female drummer! :) Thanks again!

  16. FASTPITCHRULES says:

@mom2ahandsome3yrold0 -hi, how is your repositon of your ulner nerve workling out, how long until the surgery healed and you become 100%

  17. FASTPITCHRULES says:

@xxLabrat407xx How was your surgery on ur elbow, how long until fully recovered, did u fully recover/

  18. mikerobinsonn says:

@coldsummersky69 ya it SUCKS. and i feel like shit about it, i was so used to lifting daily, and all the sudden it’s like, will i ever be able to lift like that again?

i mean, im only 19, and idk if im getting surgery yet, i can lift like 4 days in a row, then quit for TWELVE, and it heals, it sucks.

what really blows is that i originally had tendonitis in both elbows for 8 months b4 my nerves acted up, in march it will be a year, i was 6’6 220 7% BF, and now im 6’6 185…its depressing

  21. fbmuthafker says:

i play guitar, ride bmx bikes, and sit at the computer a lot

so i am a prime candidate for Cubital tunel syndrome and i have an appt monday for weakness and pain in my 4th 5th fingers, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

  22. mikerobinsonn says:

@coldsummersky69 ya i already got an emg done in october when i just had ‘tendonitis’ and it revealed moderate slowing of the ulnar nerve at the elbow on both sides, i think i’ve developed radial tunnel in both arms too, no emg yet, but im almost positive i started getting it in december. i have heard it’s and ‘anatomy’ problem and that ppl like u and me have smaller nerves grooves at the elbow, i’m getting the transposition no doubt soon, in both arms so i can hit the weights im depressed hbu?

  23. sticksbass says:

@fbmuthafker i injured the same nerve as pmb003 but by falling on my funny bone. i was numb and weak for at least months and months. i just protected it with an elbow pad and did exercises every day and evetually i fully recovered. proper ergonomics is key to preventing alot of these types of injuries.
