or eating yogurt or inserting yogurt using a tampon( but how long do u leave the tampon in and how many times?)
if there are any other home remedies that worked for u ? or u know that work please tell me and answer the other questions i have in parentheses

Please do not put anything else inside your vagina !
You said you are young , but you are having problems that only WOMEN have . Do not be embarrassed ! You need to tell someone and see a dr asap . What you are experiencing could be something worse and if left untreated can cause cancers and infertility .
Yogurt contains antibodies that are healthy for your digestive track . You need to eat it often to stabilize you digestive enzymes . It is not meant to be used as a douching medication . Some people do use vinegar but I would recommend seeing your dr first . M
Most importantly don’t be embarrassed for doing the right thing and speaking to a professional about your health .
There is no real home remedy for BV.
Bacterial Vaginosis is a bacterial infection, the only method of treatment is to use antibiotics (a drug to kill bacterial infections) – the home treatments you’re mentioned are yeast treatments so work to kill off yeast not bacteria, thus will do nothing for BV.
See a doctor!
A doctor needs to confirm the infection and give you the proper treatment – while you’re trying to self-medicate the infection may get worse, you may be treating one infection when you actually have another infection, or in a lot of cases young women think they have infections when actually they don’t. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, going to the doctor about this is no different from going to a dentist due to a gum infection, that’s what doctors are there for and as a female you’ll see the doctor for these reasons many times in your life, so best to get used to it now and start thinking about it as just something you do like you’d go to see the doctor about anything else.
It sounds more like you have a yeast infection than BV.
The symptoms of BV are fish-like smell and excessive watery and grey discharge, where as yeast symptoms are yeast-like smell, itching and milky cottage-cheese-like discharge.
For BV there are some treatments that may help such as tea tree oil or boric acid, however they are difficult to use, can cause discomfort or pain if they irritate vaginal walls, and in most cases do not work. Get antibiotics.
DO NOT INSERT TAMPONS!!
Tampons are a major cause of vaginal infections, they encourage bacterial growth amongst other health problems, so inserting a tampon is going to increase the infection as well as put you at significant risk of TSS – this is always a risk with tampon use, but the risks are greatly increased when using tampons while not mensturating or when you have a vaginal infection.
Plain pro-biotic unsweetened yogurt is a home treatment for yeast infections, it contains a bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus that kills yeast by producing hydrogen peroxide. Apple cider vinegar os another home treatment for yeast infections, there are lots of them, this will restore the natural pH of the vagina which makes it more difficult for the yeast to survive, but taking a bath in it isn’t enough to help with vaginal pH so won’t treat anything.
